Tips to Overcome Computer That Can not Shutdown

The computer can not shutdown the computer alias do not want to die, is a very common problem. The most stress are those that include a beginner class. When trying to log off, restart, or shut down Windows-based computer does not respond and sometimes the shutdown process runs only half way and stops responding, so the computer is not really dead. That means you can not log off, can not restart, or shut down the computer could not.

1. Klik Start Menu -> Run -> ketik regedit
2. Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control Panel -> Desktop
3. Double click on PowerOffActive and change its value to 1

1. This problem is usually because the registry Fast Shutdown is active. Solution: try to open the registry and disable Fast Shutdown. 
2. Setting the BIOS. I've found that the cause is a specific setting in the BIOS. Solution; when I return to positions of the default BIOS settings, it can shut down computers 
3. This behavior is also often the case when if you install some antivirus especially for example in a computer version of Norton Antivirus 2003 ccApp.exe first using the program. Solution: You should be especially selective use antivirus lbih than one antivirus installed at once in one computer, it is quite vulnerable. It could even be war antivirus in your computer. Way out is to uninstall and reinstall the antivirus. 
4. There is still an ongoing program. Solution; Especially on Windows XP if there is a program that has not closed, we usually wait for the computer to shut it down before it shut down. 
5. Device drivers are not incompatible, damaged, or conflicts between them. Solution: Check the device driver that you may not attach to this new cause. 
6. There was an error on the video adapter IRQ in real mode. Solution: replace the VGA card. 
7. This problem also occurs on a computer that supports Advanced Power Management (APM). By default, this feature is not enabled in Windows XP. If the BIOS in your computer is set for APM, and you upgrade to Windows XP, you receive this message when you shutdown your computer, and then the computer stops responding.  

Solution to number 7;
1..Click [Start], and again click [Control Panel].
2. In Control Panel, click [Performance and Maintenance], then click the [Power Options].
3. Click the tab [APM].
4. Check the [Enable Advanced Power Management Support] then click [OK].
